Welland Tennis Club UPCOMING EVENTS (This week end) Flex League/Social- Mixed Doubles- A and B+ Saturday, September 2nd, 4 – 6 pm $20 Fee for Social, Dinner is served after tennis. 2 hours of tennis per night Sign up at the Club or call Dave Boland at 905-788-1066- Deadline to sign up – Thursday, August 31 at 6 pm Welland Match Point FUNdraiser Regional Tournament 2023 Wednesday, September 13 (rain date Sept 20)- To Register – 5 pm Charity Event- Guests Welcome (and a fun time!) Mens and Ladies Singles, Doubles and Mixed, A and B Levels Entry Fee- in cash- $5.00 (bring $5 dollar bills) Max $15.00 for 3 events Partners guaranteed or bring your own RULES: Win – 1 point advance to next round Lose – 1 point – Retire Winner of each event- Prize– 50% of entry fee for that event 50% Donation to Pathstone Mental Health in Welland Refreshments and Bar will be open- CASHLESS PIZZA will be available for $2/slice Signup at club prior to event or email info@wellandtennisclub.com or JUST SHOW UP Social Tennis from 4 – 5:30 pm and after tournament until 9 pm. A Male, Adult partners with a Junior Girl and vice versa. Junior must not be in the top 40 for Ontario U16 or U18. 2 Match Guarantee. $20 per player. Entry deadline is Monday, September 18 at 6 pm. This tournament is open to players from other clubs in the region. The plastic sleeve, top and metal lid are fully recyclable and their uses are endless. But when left in landfill sites or elsewhere, plastics break down into tiny microplastics which are invisible to the naked eye but invade every aspect of our lives.
