Hello everyone! My name is Isaac Newkirk and I am a newly graduated student from Governor Simcoe. I began playing tennis when I was 12. I am currently a member of Realty Park and the Welland Tennis Club. I am also a certified tennis instructor and member of the TPA. Currently, I’m working at the club and also coaching at the club. My tennis accomplishments include being the two-time defending champion of the White Oaks Junior Club Championship, and champion of the Welland Tennis Club’s Jr/Sr Mixed Doubles Championship. I have attended numerous leadership conferences such as the Ontario Student Leadership Conference and the Global Student Leadership Conference through my participation in my high school’s student council. I will be attending the University of Waterloo this fall for biochemistry with the end goal of being either a medical doctor or university professor. I love baking and am currently working on perfecting French macarons.
