Oktoberfest Regional Doubles Tournament

Wednesday, September 30th – Sunday, October 4th, 2026

Men’s, Womens and Mixed Doubles Divisions

EVENTS:

• Open Division: Mens and Ladies Mixed Doubles OPEN, Men’s Doubles OPEN, Ladies Doubles OPEN ( Combined team rating of 9.0  )
• Club Division: Mens and Ladies Mixed Doubles Club, Men’s Doubles Club, Ladies Doubles Club ( Combined team rating of 8.5 )

Seeding committee will determine team rating if unsure.

TOURNAMENT RULES

• Player can enter two events.
•  Juniors 16 years and up can play in the tournament with an Adult partner provided the Junior is not ranked in the top 30 in the the province.
• Ontario Tennis Association- Rules of the Court
• Welland Tennis Club members and non-members can participate in the tournament.

 SCORING

• Best two out of three sets with ads and a 10 point tiebreak for the 3rd set  if reequired wins the match.

ENTRY FEE

• $35  for one event, $50 for two events

• Entry includes Dinner on Friday, October 3 at 6 pm

• Register by emailing your Name, Phone number, Email address, Events you are entering and your partner’s name(s) to treasurer@wellandtennisclub.com

• Pay your Entry Fee by e-transfer to treasurer@wellandtennisclub.com by the Entry Deadline of September 26, 6 pm

ENTRY  DEADLINE

• Friday, September 25 at 6 pm

CLUB DONATIONS:

• Hope Centre- Food donations of non-perishable goods collected at registration
