DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=””]\n   Rose City Regional Tennis Tournament   \nMonday\, June 8th – Sunday\, June 14th\, 2026 \nMen and Ladies Singles\, Doubles and Mixed Doubles \n.\nRegistration for Tournament is now Open\n  \nTo Register for the Tournament purchase a ticket Online for 1 or 2 events using a Master Card or Visa credit card.\nThe Tickets/Registration form can be found at the bottom of this page.\nRegistration Deadline is Thursday\, June 4th\,  2026 – 6 pm\n  \nDate: Monday\, June 8 – Sunday\, June 14\, 2026\nVenue: Welland Tennis Club- 45 Hooker Street in Welland- 905-788-1066\nEntry Fee: $40 for one event.  $70 for two events. \n  \n Members of the Welland Tennis Club and non members are welcome to register for the tournament. \nThe Entry Fee includes: 1 Free Drink; 1 Free Draw Ticket; 1 Free Dinner \nDinner for Participant:  Dinner is included in registration fee.\nDinner for Guest: $10: Dinner can be purchased at same time as ticket for tournament. \nDinner will be served Friday evening June 12th at 6 pm: Raindate is June 13th at noon. \n  \n  \nDetails:  Adults : \n                 Juniors:  16 – 18 year olds are eligible to play in Singles and with an adult in Doubles and Mixed Doubles .  These Juniors are eligible to play  as long as they are not in the top 30  OTA ranking \nPlayers may play in one or two events . \nEach participant in Singles and Doubles must buy a ticket and register for one division or two divisions. If you lose 1st round you enter the A draw. B/ C-  2.5 -4.0 Players. If you lose 1st round you enter the C draw. \nMen’s and Women’s Doubles – Wednesday – Sunday\nOpen/A  – 4.0 -5.5 players . If you lose 1st round your team goes to the A draw. B/C – 2.5 – 4.0 players. If you lose 1st round your team enters the C draw. \nMixed Doubles – Monday – Friday\nOpen /A – 4.0 – 5.5 players. If you lose 1st round your team goes into the A draw.  B/C – 2.5 -4.0 players. DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=””]\nOktoberfest Regional Doubles Tournament\nWednesday\, September 30th – Sunday\, October 4th\, 2026\nMen’s\, Womens and Mixed Doubles Divisions \n  \n\nEVENTS:\n\nOpen Division: Mens and Ladies Mixed Doubles OPEN\, Men’s Doubles OPEN\, Ladies Doubles OPEN ( Combined team rating of 9.0  )\nClub Division: Mens and Ladies Mixed Doubles Club\, Men’s Doubles Club\, Ladies Doubles Club ( Combined team rating of 8.5 )\n\nSeeding committee will determine team rating if unsure.\n  \nTOURNAMENT RULES\n\nPlayer can enter two events. \n Juniors 16 years and up can play in the tournament with an Adult partner provided the Junior is not ranked in the top 30 in the the province.\nOntario Tennis Association- Rules of the Court\nWelland Tennis Club members and non-members can participate in the tournament.\n\n  \n SCORING\n\nBest two out of three sets with ads and a 10 point tiebreak for the 3rd set  if reequired wins the match.\n\n  \nENTRY FEE\n\n\n$35  for one event\, $50 for two events\n\nEntry includes Dinner on Friday\, October 3 at 6 pm\n\n\n\nRegister by emailing your Name\, Phone number\, Email address\, Events you are entering and your partner’s name(s) to treasurer@wellandtennisclub.com\n\n\n\n\nPay your Entry Fee by e-transfer to treasurer@wellandtennisclub.com by the Entry Deadline of September 26\, 6 pm\n\n\n\nENTRY  DEADLINE\n\n\nFriday\, September 25 at 6 pm\n\n\n  \nSPECIAL ACTIVITIES\n\nTurkey Shoot\n\n  \nCLUB DONATIONS:\n\nHope Centre- Food donations of non-perishable goods collected at registration\n\n  \nTournament  Chair: Teresa Butson \nTournament Director: Dave Boland- For more information regarding the Tournament email Dave at davebolandwellandtc@gmail.com \nAssistant Director: Evan Kernaghan \n  \n  \n
